CARE_INT

The CARE_INT project aims to train future social and healthcare workers and family caregivers to prevent and address violence and intersectional discrimination against women with disabilities.

It does so through an innovative training module, tools for educators, and awareness-raising activities, thereby improving the quality of professional training and promoting a culture of care that is inclusive, conscious, and respectful.

CARE_INT is a project aimed at improving the training of future care professionals, such as social and healthcare workers and family caregivers, so that they are able to recognize, prevent, and address violence and intersectional discrimination against women with disabilities in domestic settings.

The training and awareness-raising activities planned in the project involve both students and teachers from vocational schools.

The project helps build a network of more aware and well-prepared professionals, promoting a culture of care based on respect, inclusion, and equality.

The project originates from the collaboration of a network of organizations committed to promoting the values of inclusion and solidarity in Italy and the Netherlands: CBM Italia ETS (Lead Partner), Fondazione Libellula, Fondazione Irea Morini Pedrina, and Stichting Regionaal Onderwijs Centrum Noord-Oost Brabant (Netherlands).
